Last year, when two of the four members of our Development Team took several months of medical leave during the crucial Hunger Walk preparations, I took the initiative to ensure the event planning didn't stall. Despite the reduced staff, my priority was successfully executing our largest annual fundraiser over the 6-month planning cycle.

950+ Registrants

By leveraging social media advertising, digital outreach, and strategic engagement with local community groups and volunteers, we successfully secured the highest number of walker registrations in the organization’s history.
$50K+ in Sponsorships

I secured secured $50K+ in sponsorships and 30 in-kind donations through strategic outreach to different corporate groups and local businesses. I also coordinated 10+ vendors for participation in the event's business expo.
15+ Performers

Through local outreach, I secured performers from Santa Monica College's Global Motion World Dance Company and arranged for a local DJ to host the event.
Developed event website and promotional materials

I was responsible for managing the back-end of the Hunger Walk website and ensuring registrations integrated with our CRM. I also designed and ordered all event materials, such as event T-shirts, swag, and flyers.
